Ram Ki Paidi is a series of ghats on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya,. A large number of pilgrims come every day to take a holy dip in the sacred Saryu waters. The river bank presents a majestic landscape especially on a floodlit night. There are huge bathing ghats all along the banks of the sacred Saryu river and the ghats at Nayaghat were submerged in heavy rains and floods. These were rebuilt in 1985. On the occasion of Diwali in 2019, Ayodhya created a Guinness World Record by lighting 450k lamps at Ram Ki Paidi. This Ghat is very close to the newly developed Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.
