Prem Mandir, famously known as The Temple of Divine Love is one of the most sought after tourist attractions at Vrindavan. This majestic temple is dedicated to Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Sita Ram. This massive
white colored temple also known as Shyama Shyam Dham, is a symbol of grandeur
with elegance.
The
foundation stone of the Prem Mandir was laid by the fifth Jagadguru Shri
Kripalu ji Maharaj in the year 2001 and the construction was completed in 2012.
Dedicated to Shri Vrindavan Dham, it was opened to the public in February 2012.
It is one of the youngest and most astonishing temples of Vrindavan.
Located in
the outskirts of Vrindavan, Prem Mandir represents the revival of ancient
Indian art and Nagara architecture emphasizing Rajasthani and Gujrati styles.
Built with Italian White marble, it covers an area over 54 acres. The entire
structure rises upto a height of 125 feet and spread over 115 feet along the
width.
You will be
amazed with the intricately carved doors and windows of the temple. Floors and
the walls are also etched with floral motifs, embedded with semi precious
stones. Elaborate engravings adorning the Sanctum Santorum and ceilings would
leave you awestruck.
The first
floor of the temple enshrines idols of Shri Radha Krishna while the secnd floor
is dedicated to Shri Ram-Janaki.

Fountain: One of the
most impressive features at the temple is the musical fountain show which is
held every evening from 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm during summers and from 7.00 pm to
7.30 pm during winters. It draws thousands of people every day who are
mesmerized by the twisting and twirling of water jets to the tunes of bhajans
and kirtans devoted to Shri Radha Krishna.
2. Evening
Lighting: The beauty
of the temple is glorified by the splendid lighting in the evening. After
sunset, the entire temple is lit up in vibrant colors offering a visual treat
to everyone, be it children or adults alike.
3. Life
Size Models: One can
enjoy the life size depictions of different leelas of Lord Krishna. The temple
complex showcases representations of Jhulan leela, Govardhan leela, Raas leela
and Kaliya Naag leela.

year festivals of Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Shri Radhashtami are celebrated
with fervor and great enthusiasm at Prem Mandir. The temple is decorated at its
